Subconscious erupts.
Truth in hidden images
Dare we seek further?
Clues to the psyche.
Fears leave us immobilized.
We MUST dig deeper.
For facing these truths
may ransom our captive souls.
Freedom found in dreams.

I feel the power pushing through your word.
Have a great day, Sister!
I see a recurring theme here.
It's funny to speculate why our mind comes up with the dreams we have. I wonder at what age we start dreaming?
I found deep waters here. Nice work.
My Dreamy Haiku is here
the truths in dreams are sometimes surprising, but often helpful in purging denial.
I had myself a doozy last night which to be honest I would have rather kept in the dark corners of my mind... now I feel like I need to deal with what I saw before this baby's arrival... and I am running out of time! : P
Polly, very powerful Haiku, you have depth, hope, tenderness and most of all... you built it up very nicely. I love the last line... Freedom in dreams , when they are not nightmare! lol
Happy Wednesday!

Okay. I'm going to post my haiku on my blog.
For you, here it is.
Lost in peaceful sleep
Found in places long hidden
Brought to light by day.
Whatcha think? Definitely not up to yours, but not too bad (maybe?) for a few minutes of thought.
Happy Wednesday, Sister.
Wow, deep thoughts today!
Funny how dreams have different meanings for everyone. I dream vividly, and remember most of them long after I wake up. Should keep a dream journal...
dare we seek further...well done my friend;)

Great haiku. Travel through our fears.

Beautiful and eloquent! I'm a fan of haiku and yours is exceptional. You have many talents. Thanks for sharing them with all of us, Polly.
PS, I thought I was a long time follower, but didn't show up as such. So I've added myself. Love my visits to Fifth Sister. :-)
