Imagine Insanity Invading her mind...
Infused In Images of the Impressionable kind.
Intimidating, Inviting, Intoxicating and Wild.
Indifferent to the Innocent child.
Should she Indulge, Imbide, Impulsively act,
Ignoring Indignities of the resulting Impact?
Impassioned...Igniting an Insatiable desire.
Could she endure an Insufferable Ire?
Imaginary or not, It's just that way when

That was very poignant and wow, you really got a lot of I words in there LOL. It must have taken a lot of thought. Great job.

ART OF GENEROSITY
Wow.... rhythmic and moving. Your use of sounds and words is incredible; as is the heart beat.
Were you an English Teacher at one time. Very thought-out and introspective.
I is for IMPRESSIVE, Polly!
I can't get over your talent with words! One is either born that way or not, it's not something that can be learned.
Mrs. Matlock is giving a spelling test on Friday. Can I sit next to you and copy off of your paper?
this is really top notch...like being in the river current the flow is so tight...
Beautiful, and wonderful "I" post. It gives a glimpse into a deeper sense at the end.
Very good! If there were a prize for using the most I words creatively you would win!
What a classic lyrical quality your poem has!
Iambic.... I think I'll stop writing poetry and just read yours.
Love your creative thoughts!!~ I love this day, it is so neat to see what bloggers come up with as we are all so different!~
Wonderful post. Your imagery is perfect, you can feel the chaos. And now I have Joni Mitchell's "Twisted" stuck in my head - thanks! Kathy
Really a good use of the letter "I".
indifferent to the innocent child...love that.
can't wait to say I knew you when!! will you still remember the little people once your famous and published?
See? I'm not the only one who thinks you should publish a collection of your poetry.
I think this poem may have been my favorite (until the next one you write!).
this really was an impressive one!! the flow was perfect and the number of I words was simply ingenious!! ; )
good job! : )
As always, I am awestruck. Beautifully done!
Wow.
Wow.
Amazing.
Can't think of one I word.
Oh my.
So perhaps your first book should be the poetry of the alphabet.
Let me know when I can pre-order my copy!
Wow.
A+
you never cease to amaze me. i couldn't get three words that start with i to make any sense ever.

Wonderfully written and disturbing.

The rhyming, the alliteration.

Ignorant.
That's how I feel when I read something this good. Loved it. You need to put a collection together and publish it.

Flash 55 - Help?
this is really beautiful and should be put to music. I heard this gal on the radio this morning called beth hart whose voice i heard singing this as i read the words.
hmmm
you captured it perfectly.....
I agree...Wow!
Blessings & Aloha!
(sorry so late...trying to catch up...I loved this...and had to read it 4 times...just because :o)
thanks for linking up with oneshot...i remember this one and can see why it is a favorite...as i said in my last comment the flow is tight and pulls us right into the struggle...nicely done.
thanks for putting this forward..we have really had some top drawer poems and this is one of them..a great choice to start you off, infact it was ideal..really well worked..cheers and i look forward to seeing more of your work..Pete
This is wonderful. I'm reminded of some of the decisions a young person struggles with as they work to build enough experience to have a little wisdom.
The stuggles within artfully versed the thoughts, ignited, illuminated ..the mind is so fragile so delicate we all need to treat it as such....blessings..bkm
sweet way to make the letter "I" interesting. Nicely written.
I can hear you speaking the words and they just flow off your tongue. You have mastered this art
Thanks for coming by One Shot Wednesday.
I loved your well-rhymed and beautifully worded poem !!!
Innovative, Ingenious, and Impressive your art
Ingrained in the Inners of my Inspired heart
