Alphabe-Thursday: The Letter I

Imagine Insanity Invading her mind...
Infused In Images of the Impressionable kind.

Intimidating, Inviting, Intoxicating and Wild.
Indifferent to the Innocent child.

Should she Indulge, Imbide, Impulsively act,
Ignoring Indignities of the resulting Impact?

Impassioned...Igniting an Insatiable desire.
Could she endure an Insufferable Ire?

Imaginary or not, It's just that way when
Her thoughts Illuminate the struggle within.

Wow.... rhythmic and moving. Your use of sounds and words is incredible; as is the heart beat.

Were you an English Teacher at one time. Very thought-out and introspective.

I is for IMPRESSIVE, Polly!

I can't get over your talent with words! One is either born that way or not, it's not something that can be learned.

Mrs. Matlock is giving a spelling test on Friday. Can I sit next to you and copy off of your paper?

Beautiful, and wonderful "I" post. It gives a glimpse into a deeper sense at the end.

Very good! If there were a prize for using the most I words creatively you would win!

Iambic.... I think I'll stop writing poetry and just read yours.

Wonderful post. Your imagery is perfect, you can feel the chaos. And now I have Joni Mitchell's "Twisted" stuck in my head - thanks! Kathy

See? I'm not the only one who thinks you should publish a collection of your poetry.

I think this poem may have been my favorite (until the next one you write!).

Wow.

Wow.

Amazing.

Can't think of one I word.

Oh my.

So perhaps your first book should be the poetry of the alphabet.

Let me know when I can pre-order my copy!

Wow.

A+

This is wonderful. I'm reminded of some of the decisions a young person struggles with as they work to build enough experience to have a little wisdom.
