Oh Christmas Tree...A Saturday Centus Offering

And then, just for kicks, I decided to make it harder by using last week's prompt as well ("It doesn't have to be this way") due to my absence. Well, I kind of got use to the "flash fiction" posts of late so I combined her photo with Monkey Man's Sunday 160 meme, where you have to use 160 characters, exactly, to write your story. The above was my attempt.

Flash Friday 55: Boys Will be Boys

Hey Billy, see them girls?

Yeah Joey, the ones hogging the swings?

Galen would not let me get away with "63 Words on Thursday" so I had to dig really deep for the proper muse for this week's attempt. My dear friend and colleague, Tiffany C., came to the rescue when she posted this photo on Facebook. I asked very nicely and she gave me permission to use it! And yes, the boys are doing exactly what it looks like they are doing. Anyway...that's all I have. I will be working the next 3 days and then I'm leaving for NYC next week. I will be sporadic in my posting and visiting. Looking forward to catching up when I get back.
