Guilty Pleasures
Zinfandel, Bordeaux,
Cabernet and Pinot Noir.
Nectar of the gods.
Sweet dark chocolate.
Private stash, hidden away.
My little secret!
Housewives of O.C.
Why am I drawn to this trash?
Like watching train wreck.
Guilty pleasures dwell
in feelings they deliver.
Is it worth all that?

The basics:
Haiku is simple!
It is 3 non-rhyming lines of 5, 7, and 5 syllables respectively
(a great way to use your fingers!)
Lastly, there is a really cool giveaway over at Weezer's Haven. You have to check it out!

Ha! I love your haiku today! Wine, Dark Chocolate...you are my kind of woman! LOL
Great haiku's! I wish I could come up with something, but the brain has run dry. Maybe I should try the wine?!
Yummy. I love dark chocolate and no one else here does. So when we get a bag of Hershey's Miniatures, those bad boys are all mine! Not as creamy as the better chocolates, like Ghirardelli, but good budget chocolates nevertheless.
Ohhh, that last one sounds intriguing! ;) I so wish I enjoyed wine, but sadly, it does not agree with me.
Have a fabulous day!
--Jenn <-- 2 N's... Just sayin'... ;)
Oh, a woman after my own heart...especially that second one about dark chocolate and stashing away and secrets and stuff.
What can be better then wine & chocolate. The perfect guilty pleasure.
Great Haiku.
Nice one! I wish I had time to write Haiku's....I really need to set aside time to do more writing!
Have a great day!!
well done, you go for the jugular!
Have a Pleasure-ful day :)
Definitely "worth all that"! Love your poetry!
All so true! I love Haiku Wednesday! :)
I agree with all yours! Red wine for me and any kind of chocolate too. I'd like some cheese with my red wine though ;)
Thanks for stopping by my blog. Have a great day and Happy 'haikuing'!
I have a chocolate stash, too!
These are all wonderful. I love the Housewives of OC...that is so true and wine...mmmmmmm I love it :) Have a great Wednesday :)
Your little secret is now ours LOL! Enjoy that dark chocolate!
Mmmmm! Chocolate! Must get chocolate! Great haikus!
I wish I had some talent in the poetry area.
Your Haikus are very clever
"I just love Kit Kat,
And all other chocolates,
Can't live without it..."
Phewww.... that took some serious thinking to get it out! Anyway, thanks for this great post and thanks for making my brain cells work... ;D
Great haiku's! Happy WW from Germany! :-)

These are so cute. Especially the Housewives one!
i have six million guilty pleasures! i can't explain why the oc housewives aren't on the list, but i make up for it in other ways!
I was curious as to what your guilty pleasures were, chocolate , wine and drama very nice :)
I was a little shocked! I knew the wine and chocolate (although NOT where the chocolate is stashed!) but the drama made me gasp!
It's ok...I watch trash tv too...just not that particular show!!! LOL!
I'm with Raoulysgirl...shocked about the tv show detail. Love it though...good to see you have at least one adorable fault. Have a great day. Holly
Love your haiku's - I mean wine and chocolate what more can you ask for! I will admit that I too am drawn to that OC Housewife trash...I love reality TV, but that show is truly trash...and it sucks me in every time.
Love the Haiku. Chocolate and wine, so yummy.
I don't watch much tv, Reality shows are not my thing. I like Desperate housewives, and Brothers and Sisters. Those are 2 shows I watch alone.
Wow, I would've never guessed you to be a Housewives watcher! It really can draw you in, though, can't it? It always makes me gratfeul for my own friends/family!
