Daisy has bilateral torn ACL's. Which means she will require surgery to both legs over the course of 3-4 months. I don't know what we're going to do. There are 3 surgical options (actually only 2 viable options) They want to do surgery as soon as possible (one leg at a time).
I guess a big family conference is in order.

Oh no! This is not a good news... oh man... I don't know what else to say to comfort you... :(
Ahhh! That is so sad. I have heard of people doing both legs at the same time. I wonder if those people have no other children.
I am so sorry, I know animals are a part of the family.
My prayers are with you and your family!
Oh poor Daisy! That is tough news :(
Poor thing, that's awful :(
I'm sorry that's happened.
Poor Daisy. As I already mentioned our pup had to have the same operation. The operation went smooth and he recovered very quickly, but it was very expensive surgery.
It's a very tough decision. Best of luck.
I'm so sorry. That's awful. thinking of you guys.

That's tough. When our black lab was having hip problems and arthritis issues, the docs recommended surgery that would've been around $5000. My mom is a single mom, who had no money for stuff like that, so we couldn't afford to do it. Cheska (the dog) lived uncomfortably for a few more years but I always wondered if having the surgery would've been worth it because she was already old. I hope all works out.
That is so sad! I hope you figure out the best thing to do. Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers.
Oh know I am sure you will do what is best for her.
I'm sure your family conference will make the best decision. I am praying for her!
oh no. i wish a second opinion would lead to better news, but i know that might be unrealistic. hang in there, daisy. i hope she is going to be ok. and i know how hard this must be for you emotionally and financially. my heart goes out to you. god i wish i could just make it all better!
Poor Daisy. You guys have some tough decisions to make. I hope all goes well. I'll be thinking of you.
Wow! That's hard. Hope all is well during the family conference.
