A Tuesday Tidbit: June 15, 2010

I hate to say it but you had it coming, you little freak!
You got what you deserved.
Crawling out of your hiding spot and scaring me like that!
Any critter who frightens the bejeezus out of me instantly goes SPLAT!
Unfortunately, I wasn't wearing shoes at the time.
Eeew. Bug guts.

(Sorry gang...this is what happens when you "got nothing"!)

Bugs are the worst part of summer for me! If it weren't for them, I might like the season, but I'm already ready for fall because the earwigs are freaking me out!

I used to let every house spider alone, but I got bit by SOMETHING and it swelled up for two weeks. Now I'm squishing everything left and right. Innocent, guilty, I don't care. No bugs in the house!

so did you immediately wash your foot, wait until a convenient time later or still have not washed it...this would tell me so much about you...lol.

Yuck! I can't stand creepy crawlies, especially in my house. Having been gone all last week, it seems many of them decided the house was vacant and therefore a perfect vacation spot. Blech!

I let a spider live in my sunroom for over a month because the small pile of fresh bug carcasses I'd find under her web each day clued me in to the fact that she was performing a valuable service. Unfortunately for her, she stopped performing and it became obvious that she had been stockpiling for the arrival of an upcoming brood. I felt terrible, but I swept her up the other day, while cleaning. I should have rounded her up and let her go. Yep. I still feel terrible.

Yuck! I hate bugs...but you are better than I! I would be high-tailing it to find my husband to kill that sucker. I can't even kill them...they petrify me.

I had to share my response to Brian: "LOL! I couldn't wash it right away as I was tending to something on the stove...and before I did wash it off I was trying to identify what type of critter it was! Sick, I know!"

Good for you! I got bitten by a spider between my toes and the results almost had me hospitalized! Better safe than sorry!
