"Daddy? Can I date?"
First words were, "Who is the boy?"
Then, "when thirty-six".
She's turning heads but
No boy will be good enough
in her father's eyes.

Very cool! Oh, boy...I have some years to go, but I bet no boy will be good enough for our girls, either!
Funny story...there's a little boy who my almost 9-year-old is very good friends with. His mom has told me over the past three years how Sarah is his "favorite" girl. I think the feeling is mutual for Sarah. This year, they wrote what they wanted to be when they grew up and he wrote he wanted to be a priest! That was the best news ever, LOL!! Too funny.
Love it!
I'm so with you...I wish they could stay at home with us forever...or at least until 36. :)
I can just see daddy greeting the boy with a 12 gauge shotgun. LOL. Well done and hits the prompt dead on the head. Excellent. :) Have a great Wednesday. :)
awwww this is sweet, a dads love ;)
Loved it, Polly!
Daddy wants to hit the boys with that particular milestone. LOL! Well done.
nope, none will ever be good enough for daddy, but they sure better act like it. smiles.
sigh... I know it will happen someday... but for now, she's 5 :")
hahaha1 i can relate to this. my own dad wouldn't approve of any man even after i became a widow and started dating again. and i'm even past 40 now. i guess no man will ever really be good enough for daddy's little girl.

LOL. I can picture me a couple of years from now in this haiku. Great one. Have a wonderful day.
I love that! heehee :D Great haiku!
If she's anything like her mom, she'll make great choices and few mistakes.
No boy is EVER good enough for daddy's little girl!
Milestones?
I'm Back! :)
But I love it! I remember a few years ago when the subject got brought up he would say, "not until after your married!"
