Microfiction Monday #52: Class Reunion

Heading out to her 40th class reunion,
Hermione surmised that time hasn’t been very kind
to Platform 93/4 and the Hogwarts Express as well.

*summons, Harry Pot-stlye, over and again* ACCIO! ACCIO! ACCIO!!! Holy Wizards Through the Wall! It's about time! I've been playing a game with myself (sort of like the "How Many Licks Does It Take to Get to the Center of a Tootsie Pop?" thing) to see just how many of this week's microfictions I'd have to read before somebody mentioned a fun-funny reference to Platform 9 3.4 and good ol' Hermoine!

Your magical microfiction takes the prize! ORCHIDEOUS! (<--*conjures a lovely bunch of flowers*) For you!

I never would have thought of a Harry Potter story. Nicely done,

Always nice to run into another Carolina Panthers fan. It looks like they are setting all kinds of the wrong seasonal records this year.

Thank you for stopping by the "dojo". 8)

The deterioration of platform 9 3/4 happened after Amtrak took over the Hogwarts Express. So sad..

I love your take on this week's picture!

Oh yes, to ride the Hogwarts Express...or take the flying car...and land a swift kick in the right place to that blasted Draco Malfoy...LOVED those books and movies. LOVED THEM. I caught a brief bit of Oprah's interview with JK. She seems like such a gracious and wonderful lady. Nice micro-fiction there, Polly,

Maybe she can make the reunion magically disappear. :)

I know nothing about Harry Potter, so maybe that is why I was kinda lost.

Thank you for my birthday wishes.

The times they are a-changing--and not for the best, it seems, for poor Hermione. If I were her, I'd forgo the express and just apparate to that reunion.

(Thanks for the Harry Potter references. I love those books too.)

Have a great week.

As much as I loved the Harry Potter books, that didn't even enter my mind. Well done!
