I have a feeling this may be the last of Micro-fiction Monday. According to the host, her blog may be on "life support" now. Since I've had this in the wings for a couple of weeks I will go ahead and post it now. I may even consider taking over hosting this event if anyone else is game to participate. Let me know.

Emerson was just about to mention the smell
prior to the flash going off
but then he remembered that age old adage:

I'm not a regular MM participant, but I would make it a point to join in regularly if it encourages you to take up the banner, Polly.
Generations have passed,
A picture in a trunk, randomly chosen,
questions begin-who,where and when, 'you have his nose, you his double chin’
While I cannot promise 100% participation week-in, week-out, I'd certainly give it a shot.
This one's perfect, though: When it doubt, tell a fart joke.
So many of the old timey photos look like the sitters have smelt something bad.
haha...nice. i agree with the scowls that are ever popular in old pictures...and the smeller is the feller...
Perfect story for that picture! Love it!
Microfiction Mondays sound like fun. I hope you'll be posting more info about them.
Well, I certainly hope you take over just because yours are so funny. I would not do well with this challenge. I am too wordy! :)
