Microfiction Monday #67: Memories

Memories
light the corners of my mind
misty watercolor memories

Egads Babs!
Must you sing that blasted song
each time we visit The Way We Were?

LOL Funny. Though I had a hard time reading it because the font is black and so is the background. Had to highlight it in order to find it any text.

Really funny, but I had the same problem -- black font on black background. Have a great week!

Ha ha! Well played as always! I love how you think it's going to be a melancholy tale, and it ends up being humorous!

Brian Miller said...

hmm...think there might be a bit more to that song...

Funny how melancholy and humor become intermixed in these microfictions...
Loved it. Cheers!

'Egads!' Now there's an archaic expression! Is it in daily use where you live? Anyway, it fits the picture somehow.

very good, oh let her sing what her heart desires...lol.

Thanks for the laugh! Babs should just sing the song inside her head.

Our math teacher in middle school would always put a slide show on at the end of the year with that song... and all our awkward middle school snapshots. Squirm.

I'm still smiling, Polly! :)
Sometimes my memories get a littly misty watercolored.
That is a condition best described like you did. Best leave it alone here.
