Sanctuary

In my cleaning frenzy the past few weeks
I created a teeny tiny oasis of my own…
a “sanctuary” if you will.

I have a desk and chair.
My laptop now has a permanent home
My beloved books are within reach.
The Himalayan Salt Lamp is putting out lots of positive ions
and, hopefully, that will help with my blogger's block of late.

It may not appear to be much,
But to me, it’s a little piece of heaven.

The place looks so work-friendly! I like the way light gently flows into the room.

I wish the block lifts soon.

Hope life is unfolding well!

Joy and peace,
Susan

Writer's block is the worst!! That space looks nice...wish I had one. My space is the couch :(

It's very important to have a corner of one's own. I love yours! Keep that salt light lit; we have one too, and I think it's great!

Love it, though I wouldn't be able to put that container of stationery at the edge of the table. All thanks to my mischievous and super curious toddler..

It looks very orderly. Since we are moving next week, I hope to impose some much needed order on our mess, too.

Looks like just what you need Polly! a soothing, quiet corner with the glow of that gorgeous lamp! That writer's block will soon be sent packing! :) I have not had time to blog of late and am just getting back into it (yes, you are entered in the giveaway!) with the latest couple entries I just made....life just gets so busy and summer is here but disappearing quickly so I tend to be outside enjoying it as much as I can instead of sitting in front of a computer screen! We need to chat more often Polly! Ciao and XXOOXX!

You don't need a whole lot of space for a sanctuary, just a place to call your own.

I always used to have small spaces and now that I have more room, I still keep to a small place. It's cozy that way.

Very nice! It looks like a great place to get away from everything (and sometimes everyone) and concentrate on your blogging. My office is in serious need of a make-over. For now, I'm working in the dining room.

I'm intrigued by the salt lamp, I've never seen one before. More info in a future post, perhaps?

ahhh, reminds me I want to get back to fixing up my office again, which is now my office/Drake's room when here - which is even better to me!
