(Since I am out of town I went lazy and scheduled one of my favorite marinade recipes to post for you to enjoy on this Flash Friday 55. You will note that I do not measure...)
Olive oil
Olive oil
Balsamic vinegar
Lemon juice
Sugar
Crushed garlic cloves
Finely chopped onion
Fresh basil, oregano, rosemary and thyme
A little kosher salt and freshly ground pepper
Add as marinade to chicken or beef
Light the coals
Or start the grill
Then grill to perfection
Serve with roasted veggies
A perfectly easy and tasty meal

I love anything with balsamic vinegar. Yummy!
I'm with Julie - balsamic vinegar and I'm in. I like this 55. Practical and useful non-fiction. My 55 is HERE .
Sounds yummy. Busy week here, planning and executing Andy's 7th b-day. Now...I'm exhausted! But happy. Holly:)
Take out the sugar, balsamic, and lemon - add chillies - and that's what I ate last night. It's a Thai dish called pad kapao khai - literally fried basil with chicken.
Add a little chicken stock - no need to marinate.
I'm going to try yours though - sounds delicious.
Sounds delish! I'm definitely going to try it!
Great idea for a 55! Hope you're away having fun.
Cheers,
jj
