Sensational Haiku Wednesday: Flames

Photo courtesy of Google Images: The Phoenix Nebula
Tears silently flow
extinguishing anger's flame
sparked by childhood wounds.

As with the Phoenix
arising from the ash to
begin life anew.

It's a great sentiment. I wonder at people who can make that break and begin anew. I'm more of a recycler, myself.

Yea, not so good on the forgiveness thing on certain childhood wounds...nice picture, in words and photo, of what I should do. Thanks.

Oooh...this is probably my favorite of all the haikus you have posted.

I know you didn't take that picture, but I sure wish I had! It's awesome, and illustrates your work nicely :)

Love the picture, and fabulous haiku!

Funny, seems we're all using this year as a catalyst to change things up. Did you read my post right before the haiku about that very thing?

I like how you put your haikus together to make a complete idea. Very good message about overcoming childhood hardships.
