Changes
Changes
Hiding from myself
Within depths of subconscious.
Buried, forgotten.
But the Light shines forth,
Awakening the lost child
To find her way home.
I would like to thank my daughter, Bethany, for penning the last line.
For me, it was the perfect ending to this introspective haiku.
I hope you enjoyed it.

The light is there beaconing you!
I'm confused. (hush, that wasn't nice!) You say silly haiku but I thought that poignant and beautiful.
honestly, it brought me to tears this morning, it hit a raw nerve. can I copy this? with all credit to you? I love it, I really do
Lovely, once again! I think Jenn's right about the name change...these haikus are more super than silly!
Lovely! Not a bit silly -- but absolutely beautiful! And I agree - your daughter did a great job!
These are wonderful! You and your daughter make a wonderful team :)
Well done!!
Beautiful, just beautiful. The collaboration was a huge success.

I always enjoy your haikus, thank you for sharing!
I'd buy that book for the cover only. I don't care what's in it; that picture is awesome.
that was lovely--and so appropriate for me right now.
happy wednesday!
beautiful! you are starting to motivate me to write along with you! Haikus are so ... peaceful.
polly,
this one made me tear up. amazing that its length is not proportional to its depth of meaning. fabulous job!
Good for Bethany and for you! This reminds me of the scene at the end of "To Kill a Mockingbird" when Scout is holding hands with Boo as she walks him home. "It's alright now, Mr. Arthur, you can come out now!"
awhhhh awesome and so touchy thanks for sharing
loves
This was wonderful. I often feel like a child deep inside who gets lost on her way home from being a mother, wife, friend, daughter... forget to be Jillien sometimes!
Thank you for sharing this awesome and personal poem!

Beautiful!
I love your haiku's especially this one!
These are so warm and heartfelt. You are so telling, I believe, what is going on in your life right now in this time of sorrow. But the best part is you know your pain will be eased, never forgotten. :) Well done my friend :)
Great collaboration between the two of you.
Well done. Holly
You are the master of Haiku. This is amazing.
