It will be the most wonderful, awe-inspiring and sacred experience. Your heart will fill with unimaginable joy as the Spirit imparts His own special gifts for you to draw upon during your life's journey. As you well know, these gifts are: wisdom, understanding, counsel, fortitude, knowledge, piety, and fear of the Lord.
Sweet Bethany, you already exhibit many of these gifts abundantly. You are a holy, faith filled, exuberant young lady who demonstrates love for our Lord each and every day. I have learned much from you as your spirituality has matured and deepened. I can only imagine the depths your faith will continue to reach once you receive this very special sacrament.
May God bless this very special day and may God continue to shower you with his generous and abiding love.
Love,
Mommy
Breathe into me, Holy Spirit,
that my thoughts may all be holy.
Move in me, Holy Spirit,
that my work, too, may be holy.
Attract my heart, Holy Spirit,
that I may love only what is holy.
Strengthen me, Holy Spirit,
that I may defend all that is holy.
Protect me, Holy Spirit,
that I may always be holy.
St. Augustine

What a wonderful day it will be! What a lucky girl to have a mom like you!
That was really sweet. Your daughter is gorgeous!
Praying blessings on your beautiful daughter as she reaches this important milestone in her life and faith journey...
What beautiful words of encouragement!
Prayers and well wishes on your continued journey, Bethany! May it bring peace and happiness into your heart.
Afterward...lock the doors Mrs. Sister and throw away that key until you send her to college!!
A Beautiful Letter from a Beautiful Mother to a Beautiful Daughter :)
Blessings to you, Bethany!
that was lovely...and your daughter is beautiful!
Blessings to your Bethany!
I love that prayer! I may have to post that on my blog!!!
Blessings to you Bethany as you take this important step on your journey of faith.
Congratulations, Bethany!
That was beautiful.
First...I didn't get to your blog Thursday. That pciture looks exactly like several of my pictures in the 80's. Boy that hair was a lot of work. The perming, drying upside down, spraying, teasing, spraying again. Hilarious.
Second...I love it when people don't just say they are a certain faith...but actually internalize it and act it out in their life. I hear thru your words how vibrant your love for God is in your life...and as both of us know...when you plant those seeds in your child's heart...God promises never to let them go. I hope her ceremony tomorrow is everything you both long for and more. YEAH GOD! Holly at lifelaughlatte
Hey...me again. My computer disk space is so full it won't let me send you an e-mail. My job for today is to delete...and delete some more! I use a Mac so my info won't help you. I take video, download it to imovie, edit, import to Youtube, then embed the Youtube code into my post. Sorry I can't be more help on this. Holly at LLL
