Ooh, Ooh That Smell! Monday Morning Version

Yeah.  The house is pretty stinky.

You see, the flu bug has bit Mr. Sister in the butt. Unfortunately, GI disturbances are one of his symptoms. I will need to get off my blog and take care of him now. But first, a Public Service Announcement.

How can you avoid getting this bug?
Simple.
One word.

HANDWASHING!

Just found you while blog-browsing. Hope your house is soon disease-free again. I liked the video of the neti pot. I also recently acquired a neti pot and my kids keep taking it for a watering can/bathtub toy!

My! Your posts have been pleasant lately. I bet you're a great one to have around the dinner table.

Poor Mr. Sister! I hope he's feeling better soon.

Thank you for the Public Service Announcement. I remind my kids over and over again to make sure they wash their hands and use hand sanitizer. I especially worry about my daughter because she has lunch and a snack at school.

My sister and I carpool our kids to school each morning and our "goodbye" consists of..."Wash, wash, wash...when you can't wash, use Germ-x...use your water bottle, NOT the water fountain...stay away from sick kids...if they sneeze, politely move away...love you, have a good day!" Every day. It's like a mantra now. Hope Mr. Sister feels better soon!!!

Poor thing! At least when we had it, it was all in the head and none in the butt!

Oh, good grief -- you're singing my song with the handwashing! I didn't used to be like this, but my son had some surgery, and ever since I am phobic about the germs. If I could get people to gargle with Purell, I would.

Yup, something so simple is really so important. I also hate when I see people sneeze or cough into their hands, ugh!

So sorry to hear your gang is sick. We had croup and colds all weekend. No fun being the mommy sometimes. Wanted to let you know that you don't have to display the award I gave you over the weekend. I totally get how that might not feel right if you have family visiting. Just know I'm sending love, do whatever you wish, just want more people to find you. Sending healing prayers your way...Holly at lifelaughlatte.blogspot.com

Ugh. I hope he gets better soon and that none of the rest of you get it. Don't wear yourself out disinfecting and scrubbing.
