This week’s theme is: Passion
Theme: PASSION
Whipped, stripped and beaten.
The Passion of Christ.
Dying for our sins,
Body pierced. Blood, water flow.
The heavens cry out!
In tomb hewn from earth
He was placed. Disciples mourn.
Are we foresaken?
No! For 3 days hence
Our beloved Lord arose!
The birth of our faith!
Haiku is simple! It is 3 non-rhyming lines of 5, 7, and 5 syllables respectively. To participate click on the Haiku banner above and then click on "Home". And if you decide to try to do one yourself, I dare you to not use your fingers! I can't get through a Haiku without mine!

Nice! Who knew you were a poet!!
Thanks Lee. Although not true Haiku (in the strictest sense it must be about nature) I do enjoy writing in Haiku format.
Nice. I adore religious imagery. Even though I wasn't raised very religious myself. Still, you can't beat the motifs.
Wow. This is beautiful!
Wonderful. Really. Just wonderful.
Thank you for your lovely comments!
Wow! That was great! You certainly have a talent for Haiku!!!
absolutely perfect. Loved each one.
Hey, you're a poet and you didn't know it :D Or, maybe you did...? Love it either way.
Beautiful, I love how you defined passion :)
Yours are lovely. But how about:
Blogging all day long
Housework is not getting done
I'm in big trouble
(yes - I absolutely used my fingers)
this is dynamic, the deeper side of passion for sure!
thanks sis!
Only girl...That's me in a nutshell, too! I have a dining room full of laundry waiting to be folded, I still haven't showered, kid's been schooled so at least I accomplished that! Thanks again to all of you for the encouraging kudos!
You are so good at these! Love where you took the theme.
Is everyone better?
I can tell what your passion is, definitely ;)
Great job!
