Haiku Wednesday

Join the fun!

Today's theme: TIME

Awake during night.
Tossing, turning. Craving sleep.
Drats! TIME to get up.

Dragging through the day
Hoping for TIME to take nap.
No such luck. Carpool.

DinnerTIME is near.
Oregano, garlic, THYME,
Pasta al dente.

Night approaches fast.
Bed's lure...intoxicating!
Relishing bedTIME.

This was fun! Everyone is invited to join in, just click on the "Haiku Wednesday" picture above and go the the "home" page. You will be directed to the fun and frivolity! Bonus points if your comments are in haiku form: 5 syllables first line, 7 syllables second line finishing with 5 syllables on the third line. Go ahead and try it...I dare you!

Excellent job with the multi-verse haiku! Especially nailed it with thyme. Loved it.

Me likes! I can't haiku right now, I'm braindead and sleep-deprived, but I will try later...I promise!

That was great! I have wanted to play along but I can't do haiku. (That was an unintentional, yet cheesey rhyme.) I never have been able to write them.

Just returned from lunch.
A nap on a blue church couch.
Returned to this verse.

Well...that's me trying to haiku along with you. Obviously not my gift. But your poem is great!
