Alphabe-Thursday: The Letter R

Jenny Matlock

R is for Reverie

In my Reverie...
I take Refuge in the Rapture
of the Rebel's Rapier;
Ransoming Remembrances
for Revelations and Redemption.
Recognizing my Readiness
to Reconcile past with present
He Reasonably Reflects Restraint
Romancing my soul instead;
Repairing the Rift and
Removing the Remnants of Rage
left in the Recesses of my mind...
Thereby allowing Rebirth - the Renewal within Reach.
Relishing the Relationship
I Rush to kneel before my Redeemer
for He is all I Require.

Remarkable, isn't it?

Wow. I love this, especially "He Reasonably Reflects Restraint
Romancing my soul instead" and "Removing the Remnants of Rage
left in the Recesses of my mind...
Thereby allowing Rebirth - the Renewal within Reach.
Relishing the Relationship
I Rush to kneel before my Redeemer
for He is all I Require."

Your writing brought this passage to mind...

“Therefore, behold, I will allure her,and bring her into the wilderness, and speak tenderly to her. And there I will give her her vineyards and make the Valley of Achor a door of hope." Hosea 2:14-15

I agree that these need to be gathered and published. Does your church have a newsletter? You might start there...just a suggestion. I just think you have a serious gift for expressing your faith, and the more who get to share it, the better! Hope your trip is going well!
