I don't know why I procrastinate
when it means I'll be writing at 8!
For I work weekends: 12 hour days!
Done, in part, for the money it pays.
There's more, though, than people see...
this work's also meaningful to me.

We played the game, asking ourselves what we would do if we won the Powerball! If we would work, and what would we do? Unfortunately, even though I instructed Dave to bring home the winning ticket, specifically, he did not.
It really is wonderful to be able to do work that has meaning for you. When I was in the hospital, they called your counterpart "The Thumper," as in: "Better use that spirometer! You don't want a visit from The Thumper!"
I am only recently discovering the joy of writing. Hubby and I just started an experiment involving writing prompts yesterday and it's interesting to see the vastly different things we each come up with from the same prompt.
Glad you've got a meaningful job, I used to hope...
Loved the opening too, I know all about procrastination. And as for me, my mind often awakens at midnight, and that's when I need to write...
