Weekend Rerun:

I was going to do the most fabulous post today: powerful punditry, witty humor, sage advice, deep philosophical discourse, and classy imagery. Unfortunately I came down with a major migraine that knocked me on my boohonkus and is still nagging at me this day. So, instead, I'm going to go back to bed. I will leave you with the following "Weekend Rerun" that originally posted on February 3, 2009. Enjoy.  (Advil, take me away!)

Why is it that when I leave for the day, or for the evening, with the kitchen looking like this:

It ends up looking like this when I return home?

Well, at least they washed the dishes that were in the sink. Oh, no wait, that was me!

(PS: I am so glad I have since had my kitchen repainted!)

Ohhh...feel better!!!

I so know what you mean about messes. I've tried ordering a complete halt on dish usage, clothes wearing, and anything else that translates into a chore for me. In other words, I would very much like it if my starving family would just sit naked on the couch twiddling their thumbs. They aren't going for it, though...

I thought the top picture came out of a magazine! Wow! My kitchen has cabinets from the fifties and big bubble of plaster threatening us from one wall. That stinks that you had to do the dishes with a migraine! I hope you feel better soon.

Happy Sturday SITS sharefest.

Seriously, feel better. When you do, I promise the messy kitchen will be all cleaned.

Boohonkus - cracked me up. I hope you feel better soon. It's funny how a lot of clean places end up in messes by the end of the day...A mother's job is never done :)

That same thing happens to my kitchener whether I leave for the day or not. I must confess though, I'm usually one of the offenders.

Hope your feeling better soon, I'm looking forward to that fabulous post.

sorry about the migraine. I get them all the time and it stinks! My whole house is a disaster right now because of so many sick kids. I can't keep up with it all. To top it all off, I have several loads of puke covered sheets and towels and my water lines to my laundry room froze. I hate cold weather.

Sorry about the migraine. I'm having trouble too. I love the word "bookhonkus."

And finally, I've wanted to run posts with this theme.
