Monday Musings-January 18, 2010

Since the whole family is home, due to the Martin Luther King holiday, today's "Musings" will be an abbreviated version. Thank you for your understanding.

Dear Tummy,

Stop rumbling. No! I just fed you. And besides, what has gotten into you, lately? (Besides the Snickers bar on Friday, the Baby Ruth on Saturday and the birthday cake on Sunday) You look like you're carrying around a large cantaloupe! I hereby order you to get in shape. There will be no carbs for you until I see some shrinkage! (Pizza doesn't count, does it?)

Gastronomically yours,

Mrs. Sister (aka fatty, fatty 2x4)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Dear Christmas Decor,
Don't you think it's about time to put yourself away? I mean, seriously. Maybe I can enlist some house elves to help you out.
Slacking off,
Mrs. Sister (aka Scrooge)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Dear Laundry,

Same to you, buddy!

Lazily yours,

Mrs. Sister (aka the maid)

Pizza counts as carbs, but only good carbs cuz look at all the veggies that go on the top!!

May the House Fairy visit you today so you can visit the spa or at least just lay around! :)

Yeah, we're de-carbing around here, too. Ugh.

Oh yeah and I'm attempting to climb Mt. Laundry today!

Thank you, thank you, thank you for informing me that I'm not the only one with Christmas decorations still waiting to be put away! They are all packed up in boxes, they just don't seem to want to make the trip to the basement!

Laundry? Yep, me too! My husband did it all for me while I was sick (almost made it worth being sick!), but now I have to get back to doing it. Maybe later....

Can I make the reason that the Christmas decorations aren't put away yet is because since Dec. 26 I've had a massive cold that has knocked me over, and out and under. Now, that I'm feeling abit better, I will attempt to box them up sometime this week.
Your post is very funny! :)

I did so much laundry, all seven baskets are full of folded clothes, waiting for my heathens to put away. I have a feeling I'm going to have to resort to threats to make it happen.

Pizza doesn't count...it is its own food group.

I am sending the same note to my laundry...but I am about to not have power, so I can use that as an excuse.

We still have the Christmas Village out on the Credenza. I am doing my laundry.

Can you express mail the elves to my house?

I was just about to chastise you for having Christmas decor up when I realized that I still have my door wreath and doormat up. Hmmm, can I blame it on the rain? I don't wanna go outside and deal with it!

I have two suggestions for you. Christmas decor -- teenager. Laundry - husband. That's how it works in my house.

Hope that this section is the correct place to contribute this... I merely hoped to inform everybody inside the forum who resides in Down Under know about a really good top of the range audio visual equipment business site called Ordio. I discovered them actually by mistake when I was scouring the web for Tvs and it just so happened that these people had the most affordable prices available. Not only that but they are amazingly courteous and even followed up on my transaction to confirm I was still completely happy. They buy out big inventories of high end audio equipment so that they can honestly break the price down. Absolutely visit their site if you're scouting for some home electronics.
