The city has, essentially, shut down. Major accidents throughout the metropolitan area are causing road and highway closures. I will be a true "stay at home" mom today as hubby required the RAV in order to make it into work. The neighbor kids are still in bed due to school closures. Please allow me to show what the morning after sounds like.

That is so beautiful! Being born and raised on the coast of California I was always jealous of places where schools had snow days!
Ah yes...but with snow days come MAKE-UP DAYS!!!! Which your kids won't have to contend with, will they 5th? LOL!!! How beautiful! When it's white and new it's lovely...when it's melting and dirty (and yellow in places)...then...not so much! Enjoy the beauty while it lasts!!!
