Accidental frost…
Unexpected winter’s breath…
Braving season’s chill

Colorful parkas,
Mittens, scarves flowing freely;
Surfing wintertide.

That first breath of winter--we know in our bones that it's coming, but it always seems to catch us unawares, doesn't it? Brrr!
