And lunch, and dinner? Why this sweet creature:
Unfortunately her collar has no registration or ID. I put in calls to the local animal shelter and to Animal Control so they would be aware that I have a beautiful black lab if anyone reports one missing. I even posted signs at every entrance/exit of my neighborhood. The signs have since been torn down. Can you believe that? Sometimes I really hate my neighborhood: apparantly the signs were "unbecoming" to the aesthetics of the community. Oh give me a break. I'm trying to reunite this adorable dog with her rightful owners.
I do have one problem, though...the kids have already named her "Jet".

lol, looks like you might have gained a new family member, she is beautiful :)
You know you're in trouble when the kids have given her a name! I hope you're able to find her owner. She looks like a sweetie, I'm sure they miss her.
If the owner isn't found, any chance you'll be able to keep her?
ohh... we had to put our 12 yr old black lab down this past oct - poor thing developed a rare form of cancer. I really miss him. If I lived closer I'd say I lost him! Enjoy your new family member!!! :)
Jet... I like it. Welcome to 5th's family, Jet!
Mr. Sister says that we notify animal control. If no one claims her we will keep her! I was wanting a dog but don't know if a black lab is a good one for daughters allergies/asthma. She is a sweetheart, obviously well trained and behaved. When she wags her tail her whole behind goes in motion...too cute. Well, must go take her for a walk, now that the rain has stopped.
Welcome home, Jet! I hope it works out for you 5th! She's a cutie!
I hope you get to keep her - she is very cute! And Jet, good one!
